Barry Waterfront Easter Egg Hunt 2026

Join us for a fun, family-friendly Easter adventure!

Hop on down to our community Easter Egg Hunt and enjoy a morning full of laughter, exploring, and chocolatey surprises. This event is open exclusively to BWRA members and is a lovely way to bring families together and celebrate spring.

What to Expect

  • A fun trail around the Waterfront with hidden Easter clues

  • A small prize for every child taking part

  • Extra goodies for a few lucky golden egg finders

  • A chance to meet other families and enjoy some community time together

When and Where

  • 10:30  11:30, Friday 3 April 2026

  • Meet by the water feature on Phase 2 by Craft Republic 

Who Can Join

This event is for BWRA members only. Perfect for ages 2–11, but older siblings can absolutely join the fun.

A magical Christmas at Barry Waterfront - Volunteer Meeting:)

The Barry Waterfront Residents Association (BWRA) is preparing for this year’s Christmas Community Event, and we are looking for volunteers to help us make it truly special!

Whether you can spare an hour or a day, we’re looking for enthusiastic volunteers to support with:

  • Event management

  • Working with local businesses to design a Christmas celebration

  • Event setup and decoration 🎁

  • Welcoming guests and stewarding 🎅

  • Running stalls or activities 🎨

  • Serving refreshments ☕

  • Packing down and clean-up 🧹

This is a fantastic opportunity to

  • Meet neighbours and make new friend

  • Be part of a festive, feel-good community event

  • Help create lasting memories for local families

No experience needed — just a warm smile and willingness to help!

21 April - Waterfront Easter Egg Hunt

On bank holiday Monday (21 April), the Barry Waterfront Residents Association (BWRA) in partnership with Asda Barry will be hosting an Easter egg hunt.

The hunt is designed specifically for the little people but big people are super welcome to join in the festivities.

Please arrive on time (10:30am) and register with one of the committee members of the BWRA who will give you a list of clues and some guidance. You will need to bring alone a mobile phone to take pictures as you make your way through the clues.

Winners of the hunt will be presented with a fabulous egg.

We look forward to seeing lots of little people on the day :)

Barry Waterfront Residents Association and Asda Barry Community team have joined forces to arrange and deliver regular litter pics around the new Waterfront development.

Big and little people are ALL welcome.
